Bricklot Studios
A downloadable game for Windows
OCT 2022 Update
After many months of stopping development of this game (because, y'know, life stuff), All levels have been completed!
I do not plan to continue any further development on this project. It was a great way for me to learn game development, but I have moved on from that.
Please enjoy the (hopefully) compete game!

I think the quiz answers are bugged. Citizen Kane didn't work, but just pressing the first answer for all three movie selections did work.
Also, Takua/George's script isn't properly textured. It's blank. And when I try to talk to him in Level 3 (using the Level Select feature), his text box just says "Tohunga".
And I can't find the coffee cups. I guess maybe that's supposed to be unlocked by asking everyone about coffee but getting to the mocha guy is practically impossible. There should be a flight mode or a low gravity mode to help with all of the physics puzzles.
Honestly, these are all issues I could probably fix myself if I had the project files.
Trust me, you don't want to see what the project files look like
hmm how to progress story i tried every button
Quite faithful remake. Apart from holes in the models (probably because of smoothing without welding the vertices first), it looked really good! I like how you even rebuilt all the buildings outside the terrain! However, I got stuck in the first level because I tried to jump between the boxes and the stairs near the prop guy and couldn't get out. I also answered all the questions of the prop guy right but he still said I got them wrong. I even tried each combination. I also felt like the camera/player was very hard to control because of the acceleration curve. It took a while before you could turn long distances and when you were able to, it was easy to overshoot. Finally I noticed that items weren't picked up automatically when you were near them, so getting the binoculars was a real chore for example. Maybe it could also be a good idea to have some kind of controls explanation overview because having the run key mapped to Z might not immediately make sense to the player.
